Melissa May is a Controller at Hertford Advisors with seven years of experience running accounts for small and medium-sized companies. She has several years of experience managing a team, ensuring timely monthly closing, and leading company-wide software implementations. She is proficient with Excel and is able to develop a multitude of management reports including Financial Statements, Budgets, Forecasts, and Cashflow Projections. Rhiannon Potter is an Accounting Manager at Hertford Advisors.  Before joining, she was a consultant bookkeeper serving 30 clients at a time for the BM Group.  Rhiannon graduated from Algonquin College with a degree in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting and is currently working on her BComm at Nipissing University.  As a Certified Pro Advisor with QuickBooks Online, she handles with ease all day-to-day tasks such as creating invoices, categorizing transactions, payroll processing in addition to month-end tasks such as bank reconciliations, HST filings and preparation of financial reports.  Rhiannon has consistently demonstrated her talents for quickly learning new tasks and completing assignments ahead of schedule while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Aaron MacDonald is a Controller at Herftord Advisors with twelve years of experience in a finance role including eight years in a Senior Financial Analyst and Finance Manager role. He has a double major in Accounting and Marketing with a minor in Political Science from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax. Noel Aucoin is a CFO – Small Business at Hertford Advisors. Noel is a CPA and has 14 years of experience in finance roles including over 10 years leading finance teams. Noel has a wide range of industry experience including print media, wholesale/retail, commercial real estate, aviation and transportation. Will Taylor is an Accounting Manager with Hertford Advisors with eight years of experience running accounts for small companies.  He is a QBO specialist with a deep understanding of every element of the software.  He has worked at Hertford since 2018 and is very familiar with all working methods and processes.  Will completed his undergraduate degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University in the UK and has lived in Ottawa since 2015.  Notable achievements include:

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Sheila McClement is an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Hertford Advisors, having worked in similar roles for over ten years.
